How To Smack It

Smack Up ™ Instructions

Where to Smack It.

Our smaller Smack Ups ™ are made for both indoor and outdoor use. Place them on vehicles and well-painted indoor walls. Smack Ups ™ larger than 18" X 18" are made with material that is manufactured exclusively for indoor use. We make larger Smack Ups for outdoor use upon request.

We use a material that is safe for placement anywhere on any vehicle. It will not remove paint. Smack Ups ™ is designed for clean, flat surfaces.

How to Smack it.

The smaller the Smack Ups ™ the easier it is to apply. If you make a mistake, carefully remove it and reapply. Larger Smack Ups ™ need more care and four hands. Use the applicator (included with life-size) for help, or use a credit card or a soft firm material like a dry eraser to smoothly apply the Smack Ups ™. Always work from the center out to allow trapped air to release.

Choose and Clean The Surface Wisely.

Smack Ups ™ are designed for clean, flat surfaces. Wipe the surface with a wet towel before applying, and allow surface to dry before smacking it up. The cleaner the surface, the longer your Smack Ups ™ will stay attached to the surface. If you wish to move your Smack Ups ™, the tackiness will diminish if there was dirt and/or dust on the original surface.

Poorly painted walls and wallpaper are not ideal surfaces for Smack Ups. We do not recommend these uses: concrete walls, brick exteriors, any corrugated or highly irregular surface; stainless steel; and paint that is not thoroughly cured or dried. Apply Smack Ups at your own risk on any surface other than a clean, flat well-painted wall or vehicle.

Save the liner.

Save the liner your Smack Ups ™ come on for future use. If you remove your Smack Ups ™, you can store it on the original liner until you reposition it. The life of your Smack Ups ™ and the portability of it are related to how clean and appropriate the applying surface is.

Be very careful removing your Smack Ups ™. The longer a Smack Up ™ has been in one spot and the more direct sunlight it receives, the more difficult it is to reuse. The more you reposition it, the less tacky it becomes. Reposition a Smack Up ™ at your own risk.

Lifespan

The general lifespan of a Smack Up ™is two years.

A Smack Up ™ is a high quality sports image made of durable vinyl that is easy to put
up and take down. It is safe for windows, vehicles, most walls and flat surfaces.
